    You might be onto something there Nancy. Who pays for this "think tank"? I doubt it is a secret cabal of "community organizers" who are behind it.

    An interesting article on America's health care system in today's Wash Post:

    "The US spends 16% of GDP, more per cpaita than any other nation in the world. Yet lags in overall health - 29th in infant mortality, 48th in life expcetancy, and 19th out of 19 industrialized nations in preventable deaths."

    I'd say a fair amount of the blame goes to the idelogical blow-hards who keep yapping about "socialized" health care rather than taking a reasoned and reasonable approach.

    One thing is for certain. The fact that they started using Britain for their bad example for health-care instead of Canada's speaks volumes. Must have been better than they expected when they first started in on it.
